My Project
Art is a wonderful tool to use in the classroom. There are many benefits to encouraging students to be creative. I have found that art is wonderful for mental health, motor skills, critical thinking, and building confidence.
This year we are adding more art history into our curriculum.
I would like to make this as engaging and hands-on for students as possible. I want my students to be able to paint, color, draw, and build using different techniques. As we read about different artists, I want students to be able to create artwork similar to the artists they are learning about.
My goal is for students to step outside their comfort zone, be creative, and use their imaginations as they create amazing pieces of art.
