My Project
Art supplies like clay and acrylic paint can transform the educational experience for students, especially in a Title I school within a low-income community. For many students in such settings, access to quality art materials is a luxury they simply can’t afford. Yet, these materials are not just tools for creating; they are gateways to creativity, expression, and critical thinking.
In a Title I school, where the student body often comes from diverse backgrounds and may face economic hardships, integrating art into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) lessons can be particularly impactful.
Art lessons don’t just add color to the curriculum; they enrich the learning process in profound ways. I plan to use acrylic paints and clay to teach students how to illustrate different science concepts.
