My Students
My students are amazing, they overcome challenges presented to them every day. The disabilities range from autism to downs syndrome and cerebral palsy. My students are all unique and talented, they each experience in different ways, most of them are visual learners.
All my students enjoy expressing themselves through their artwork.
I teach the entire school, therefore I am always in need of art supplies. Some of my students are non-verbal, art is their only means of expression and communication in several instances.
Every day I get hugs from students asking me what we will be doing in art next. I created an "art club" so we can continue to do even more projects, including decorations and set designs for the performing arts productions in our school. The energy and enthusiasm of my students are beyond comprehension.
My Project
I am asking for supplies to use in school and remote if my students go remote. It is impossible to share materials so we have to give them out for students to keep in their desks and not share. I have a limited supply to give out, it would be so helpful to have one set for each student. With your help I can have all the materials I need for all my students to have and use for the ret of the school year. Art has been one constant in their lives lets let them keep making beautiful art in class or at home.
