This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of housekeeping, we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we work to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
My students need art items and the collage kit will help them have a variety of items to create art. The kit includes pom poms, wiggly eyes, craft sticks, and pipe cleaners and much more. The craft kits will help the students follow directions and create fun fridge magnets and ornaments. They could use those to hang their art creations at home to display on their kitchen fridge.
Art can incorporate all the concepts we are learning about.
From science concepts to story elements the students will have so many opportunities to express themselves.
