Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The support filament will give the students the chance to design models that can easily be 3D printed because this material dissolves in water. This will allow students' creations to easily separate from the support material and prevent breaking or any other damage. Students will engage in projects that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. This filament will allow us to integrate 3D printing into more subject areas, from math to art and social studies.
Students can also collaborate on building models, and bring their ideas to life in ways that paper and pencil simply can't offer.
Students will be able to paint these flat rocks and decorate our new gardens. These rocks will also carry kind messages that will encourage others to spread positivity around school. The basket weaving kits will help us tie art into our Native American unit.
