My Project
This is my second year teaching Art History and I love it! I currently rely on my Jason's History of Art textbook to teach from. I begin with a unit about the birth of Hip-Hop. My intention is for my students to learn about art movements and artists that are relevant, fun, and informative for them.
It would be wonderful to have such culturally responsive books.
I'm especially excited about the book about women artists. It's going to give us a great springboard for our next topic: Women in Hip Hop.
