My Project

Last year I took on a morning Art Club for grades 3-5. That was the first time I was teaching a morning club and I absolutely loved it. Those kids blew me away. The only problem is the district supplies very few supplies. Thanks to DonorsChoose I was able to give my students access to a variety of materials and a list of ideas so they could create whatever their heart desires.

Like Picasso said, "Every child is an Artist".

My goal for the club is to build a community of supportive kids who encourage one another to be creative and have fun doing it.

I will have 16 students enrolled in art club and I know they will love being there. I already have children who were in the club last year asking me if I am running it again this year! They are so excited for it to get started and I am looking forward to seeing what they create this year! I am hoping that with your help my vision will become a reality.
