Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are running out of art supplies in our classroom! The first graders are excited to illustrate their stories, create spring landscapes, and explore all the colors of the rainbow.
I'd like to give each student their own individual bag of art supplies, including markers, crayons, pencils and colored pencils.
This will teach them responsibility for their materials, and will also keep them engaged in art work and academic projects.
Finally, the "Teachers Pay Teachers" gift card will help me to purchase new coloring projects for students, with plastic protectors to display them!
