Art for Every Interest - Building an Art Library

Help me give my students visual reference materials to help explore new ideas and methods in art. In our choice-based art classroom, students take ownership of their own learning and expression and these materials will make that possible!

My Students

Our neighborhood school is doing great things with our kids! We have a strong sense of community and family and really care for our kids. We're proud to provide choice to students whenever possible in every subject - and this is particularly true in art.

We are now in the second year of our visual arts program and strive to provide a choice-based (TAB) program.

It was so exciting watching the kids grow and learn about new art materials, media and techniques last year, and I'm so excited to continue it this year. They are so excited to come in and explore, experiment and express themselves.

My Project

These resources will help fill the remaining gap in our visual art program. We have a good amount of art supplies to allow the students opportunity to experiment, explore and create. But we have not yet built up our reference library for the arts.

These books will allow students the opportunity to reference additional techniques, projects ideas, and drawing methods.

Each new idea they are exposed to can help unlock a new way to express themselves creatively. So far every book I've brought in to the library has been in high demand, so I know they will appreciate the opportunity to explore more!
