This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art is more than just a creative outlet, it’s a way for children to express themselves, build confidence, and heal. In our behavioral health special education classroom, many of our students face emotional, physical, or developmental challenges that make traditional art activities difficult. Without the right tools, some kids are left on the sidelines, unable to fully join in the joy of creating.

We want to change that by providing adaptive art supplies such as special brushes, scissors, grips, textured tools, and other materials designed so every child, no matter their abilities, can participate.

These tools give students the chance to paint, draw, and create in ways that fit their unique needs.

With your help, we can ensure that no child is left out of the creative process. Your donation will help us fill our classroom with supplies that empower students to express themselves, practice fine motor skills, and discover the confidence that comes from making something all their own. Together, we can open the door to creativity for every child.
