This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my class come from low income families. They can barely afford food and clothes let alone art supplies. Every year I spend my own money to provide them with supplies that will make learning fun.
Paper, glue, and yes glitter is what makes art projects possible and fun!
These items will be used through out the school year to let students creativity flow. I try to have an art activity a couple of times a month, and more when I'm able. I appreciate any help you are able to give. Thank you.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
