My students are wonderful. They are from a rural, low-economic area. I would love to have a few basic art supplies for them to use and have for homework. Crayola crayons and pencils are used almost daily in my class, and my students color-code everything.

They also use unlined notebooks to keep up with classwork and for directed drawing activities. They love the day when we do directed drawing, and we keep the drawings in the notebook until the end of the year. It's great to see how they have progressed as good listeners and artists.
