Help me give my students drawing paper, colored pencils, sharpies, a crayon sharpener, and dry erase markers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Mauldin's classroom raised $169

My Students
My students consist of artists from PreK-Fifth grade with varying exceptionalities. My students are part of a rural community in central Florida with limited resources. We have many homeless students and 100% of our students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Learning through the integration of art is essential to my students' educational and personal growth as lifelong learners.
Art allows them to see the world through many different lenses. Nothing compares to the look a child gets when they have pride in something they have created. I strive to give my students the opportunity to achieve this experience each and every day.
My Project
My students love to draw. Using colored pencils on drawing paper is a fun art experience. Of course a hand sharpener to sharpen the colored pencil is a must. As students finish their masterpieces, they use a black sharpie to outline and “sign” their work. When students are finished with their artwork, one option is to use the dry erase boards and markers to draw. Using of these materials, will have a positive impact on our students as well as the art they are soon to create in their future. With your help my students will be able to express their artistic side.
