My Project

My students are amazing. They come to a school each and every day taking on the challenge of staying afloat in a building full of people they don't understand and who can't understand them. They work so hard to build their knowledge of the English language so they can operate equally to, and with, their peers.

Helping me purchase Clip Art through Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to create the simple, but engaging, text they need to really master the most basic vocabulary words and start communicating effectively with those around them each day.

I have created many units for my beginning learners and I would like to supplement those units with personalized, high-quality text in which these concepts are integrated. I believe using the words we learn in context is an invaluable way to efficiently build their vocabulary and sentence structure.

With these TPT gifts cards, I can purchase Clip Art to differentiate text and make sure to have an image that represents all of the new concepts they're learning about such as colors, school supplies, common verbs, shapes, family members, adjectives, etc. The possibilities are endless!
