My Students
My students come from every neighborhood in San Francisco and they represent the vibrant diversity of what makes our city special. And now that they are learning online for the fall, it is critical to make sure they have access to all the materials they need at home to continue to grow their creative and academic skills while we are apart.
My Project
As a class, we will be exploring what the future might be like through our own writing and reading of the novel The Giver by Lois Lowry. Having art materials to create and imagine what is possible will be a powerful extension of this exploration. One that will give students an opportunity to express & uncover their own visions of the future. Which will most definitely lead to questions to ponder - How can we create a more inclusive world? What can we do to ensure that the planet is taken care of?
