This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Children with special needs paint the world with beautiful colors each day." -Author Unknown
My classroom is a warm and inviting space where all students are encouraged to try their best and use their unique colors in ways that teach others.
My students don't have disabilities, but rather each one of them has unique abilities that color the world around them. They are inspirations to the staff and peers within our school community. My students are enthusiastic about learning and want to try their best.
My Project
Students complete weekly art projects in the classroom to support their learning and better understand the curriculum. All materials that we are asking for are used on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis. Students will use a variety of Crayola crayons, markers, or colored pencils to add vibrant details to their art projects. Glue is needed to help put projects together. Lastly, a variety of expo markers will allow students to showcase their learning on an interactive whiteboard where they tweet their learning. Students love to add details to their whiteboard sentence strips with colors.
Arts in the classroom is important for my students who rely heavily on hands on experiences and are visual learners.
Students enjoy interacting with the curriculum by creating weekly art projects and using their creativity to showcase their understanding.
My students are a group of diverse learners who love to showcase their work in the classroom for other students, parents, and staff at the school. Your contribution will help them to continue to beautify their lives and learning.
