My Project
All students want to see their art up on display. There is a sense of validation that one receives when our work is viewable. My students come from all around the world and art is our unifying force. We spend a lot of our time in our outdoor classroom. We get tons of fresh air and sit under a shaded tree. Unfortunately, being outdoors has some limitations that we could use help with. If we are able to paint one of the walls of the storage bin with whiteboard paint, we will have a new learning surface. Another wall needs magnetic paint so that we can display student art using magnets to hold their art up. If students have canvas, they can create art for display on that surface as well. Finally, the name tags will be a source of creative expression for all of us to get to know each other next school year.
