Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in our art projects. They are fearless when it comes to trying new things. Although many students are trying things for the first time in my class, they approach every new project with a positive attitude. For these reasons, I want them to have all the different mediums and materials available to them so they can learn and experience new things. I know the students will appreciate your donations.
The oil pastel set, drawing paper, charcoal pad, markers, watercolors, chalk pastels, charcoal pencils, and trays are for various projects the students will be working on.
We will be working on many 2d projects and some 3d projects with the advanced group.
I have things planned like still life drawings, abstracts, pop art, painting, self-portraits. We will be exploring the principles and elements of design, we will be looking at art history and its relevance and impact on today's world. We will also be taking a look at how art shows up in our daily lives and look into different careers that incorporate art principles.
I also want to focus on entering the students in different local competitions. I am personally taking an interest in helping any student who wants to attend a magnet high school with their portfolio.
