My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I want to introduce them to all types of art and different ways to express themselves. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet.

My Project
These books will continue to enhance the classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy, and complete beautiful artwork! Every student book that is placed in my art library is treated with love and care, and students are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students and future art projects in mind.
With these new books, my students will continue to enjoy reading and help students creatively by inspiring them to create great art.
The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences further, while also enhancing their creativity and knowledge in Art.
