This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students attend a title one STEAM charter school in Santa Ana. My students we’re virtual learned all last academic year. Our school encompasses students from an array of cultures and various socioeconomic status backgrounds. The majority of our students are ESL learners and come from lower income households. As a teacher, I'm provided with the basic essentials for our students but would like to provide my students with tools that can inspire their creativity and innovation.
My Project
Please help my students with supplies needed for a black history month art project. Each student is researching a black American hero and I’d love to pair their research report with a water color art piece. We’ll be using water color paint to create unique portraits of each hero my students are researching. We’ll use each piece to construct a class art quilt. My students haven’t had the opportunity to work with water color paint this year and I know they’d greatly enjoy using these paint sets for this project and others the remaining of the year.
