Help me give my students paper and paint so they can learn through the arts.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Coyne's classroom raised $501

My Students
Every 50 minutes a new group of children enter the art room ready to create. All are enthusiastic to find out what we are doing each week. Curiosity and resourcefulness are just the begin of their artistic journey. The best part of being in the art room is how they use their imagination with hands on materials. Just picture yourself walking into an art room to see an active group of children working enthusiastically to do their very best work.
My Project
The visual arts are more than “Art for Art Sake”. The visual arts enhance and enrich the learning experience. In life you need to be creative to solve problems.
Paper and paint become an essential part of exploring and experimenting that will define their personal creative process.
From the beginning in kindergarten through 5th grade all children will use painting to express themselves. They will further learn how to work collaboratively and build social skills.
When you think of visual arts it most often thought of the drawing, painting and history. Also know that it promotes creative thinking across curriculum.
