This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is all about the ocean and integrating the arts.

Integrating art and science into our ELA block is essential to covering standards, honing skills, and engaging young minds.

This ocean unit will include reading and writing, covering habitats and biomes while integrating art and sensory activities. There will be engaging strategy games, hands-on fossil digs for ocean creatures, shark pens, and ocean animal scratch art. It would also provide magnetic ocean building and engineering, which takes artistic expression to a new level. Integrating the arts into science and reading takes imagination! This project is full of creativity and imagination to engage all students inclusively.
