Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are creative and curious 4 and 5 year olds. They love hands-on activities that are engaging and that allows them to think and find solutions. They come to school each day ready to experience new adventures in order to grow both personally and academically.
We are a multi-cultural pre-K inclusion classroom.
Our families are hard working, low income to middle class citizens, who send their precious children to our school. Our school is a public school in NJ that serves approximately 450, 4 and 5 years old students.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of some art and craft supplies such as collage flower pots, foam shape stickers, pop up letter beads, craft picture frames, collage people shapes, design your own calendars, draw and shrink craft kit, craft pot holders, paper bags, Macaroni, make a face sheets, and jumbo colored craft sticks to help support my students emotional development and fine motor skills. They will develop great pleasure in creating art and appreciate the artwork of others. The art and craft supplies will encourage the children to express themselves, be creative as well as providing seasonal gifts for parents, grandparents, and friends.
