My Project
My goal is to promote diversity and inclusion between cultures, time periods, and art. I talk about different nationalities, customs, traditions, and art around the world. Resources that reflect this diversity, such as coloring books, multi-cultural colored pencils, clay and paint, promote inclusivity, ensuring that every student feels valued and respected for who they are. This also helps to strengthen self-esteem by seeing their cultures represented in a positive light in the classroom and validating students' experiences and identities. Learning about different cultures also promotes empathy and respect for students of diverse cultures and backgrounds within the classroom and throughout the school.
