How is this thank you \"special\" compared to any other thank you? I hope that by looking deeper at my message while you're reading this, you can feel the sincerity and gratitude within the words that I've written and pictures that I share. My gratitude is beyond any words that I know of and being an art teacher, I think it's best to describe what's going on as I write this. I'm sitting here at my desk in the art room thinking of this thank you. I hear a teacher say to a student with an excited voice, \"Are you having a good week? The student replies, \"Yes.\" Her response was, \"Woo hoo, it feels great when we have a good week?\" I think of that student and how much he enjoys art. I think of all of the other students who enjoy art just as much as he does. The computer screen turns blurry as my eyes well up with tears. Tears of joy and gratitude fall to the desk as I think of what you made possible for all the students here at Lowell Elementary. Through the kindness of your heart, they're able to paint the world beautiful. \r\n\r\nStudents were so excited to paint their projects this time around. We had 1st graders creating emotion monsters, 2nd graders working on Day of the Dead sugar skulls, and 3rd graders are in the middle of landscapes using tints and shades.","fullyFundedDate":1727664630512,"projectUrl":"project/paint-the-world-beautiful/8819416/","projectTitle":"Paint the World Beautiful","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. O'Hara","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9777382"},{"teacherId":4827639,"projectId":8503146,"letterContent":"Upon opening the boxes from your generous donation the kids squealed with delight. Some stating \" Oh that looks so fun to use\" or \" I cannot wait to use that!\" I ripple of excitement was palpable. On a daily basis students can utilize the various view masters that I have available in morning bins. Students get greeted at the door, eat some breakfast and then get to use a wide variety of morning bins and the view masters are quite the hot morning bin. During math instruction and play time the students love using the play doh and the tools that go along with them. The enthusiasm is so high for the play doh that I have created another station for students to get the opportunity to play with the play doh. Finally the kinetic sand has been quite helpful in my zen zone. Students get to run their hand through it while they are trying to get themselves calm (in the green zone). Thank you so much for all your donations and kindness.
