This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Transitional Kindergarteners are an amazing group of students who love to learn, move, create, color, paint, and more. They come to school looking for the latest learning objective everyday! My students' motivation to learn and to experience new things is what makes me love them so much.

The canvas boards and paint brushes will support them in their learning of the famous artist Sam Gilliam.

During this black history month, we have been looking at his art and learning about lines galore. My students will have the chance to create their own art inspired by this great artist. The transportation materials will allow my students to have theme based activities to go along with our learning of transportation.
