This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my 1st grade dual immersion students because they show up every day and persevere, show compassion and integrity! I have both high and low performing students, some even receive additional support for academics and emotional needs. They are extremely inquisitive, curious and smart!

These little scholars have a love for school, reading, art and science!

We will be studying life cycles of plants and animals and the best way to bring this to life is by reading, writing, and integrating art into our unit! My amazing students will use the art supplies to draw different animals and plants during different phases of the life cycles. We will study different artists to get ideas from them and incorporate their artistic styles.
