My students come to school eager to learn. They love working together, sharing their ideas, and helping their peers. Because my students are very energetic, they love learning through active, engaging, and hands on activities. They are not content to sit idly by and let the teacher do all of the work.
These students are highly motivated by learning that occurs through social interaction.

My Project
Imaginative play and and creativity in art are crucial to a child's development, especially in the early childhood years. Not only does it help to keep students engaged, but it allows for a more multi-faceted approach to learning and teaching.
Students will use these products to explore real world concepts through play and art.
They will learn problem solving skills, cooperation, and visual-spatial relationships. This will all occur while simultaneously practicing writing, reading, and math skills.
The dramatic play materials will be used by students to act out real life situations. They will be writing lists and using math to solve equations. The art supplies will be used to practice writing and reading sight words that will be placed in the pocket chart stand.
