Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in the list are to help my students with life skills, art and math. The number line is to help my students interact physically with number recognition, adding and subtracting. The LCD tablets are for art projects, fun writing and math work or free time. The mazes are to add to our sensory room for use during difficult moments or break time. The art mats are to help students who get a bit excited with paint. The paper cutter is for students and classroom staff to use for classwork.
Life skills and art are favorite classroom subjects in need of more materials.
The hands-on work in life skills will help them prepare for adulthood and career paths. The art materials will help students who require a bit more help with keeping art in a spot, cutting and staying engaged.
