This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a beautifully diverse school in Belmont Cragin. I have 24 students with various needs and levels. My students love learning especially reading. I know that their love for reading and learning will continue to grow by providing them with tools such as headphones with microphones!
This is why I am asking for your help in purchasing 6 headphones with microphones, crayons, and markers!
Starting the new year with my second graders, we would be so humbled by this opportunity to enhance our learning with more crayons, markers, and a headphones to improve our fluency! I am requesting crayons and markers for my 2nd graders to use during reading centers as well as for their writing pieces during writing workshop! Crayons and markers help my students draw and color their learning in a creative and engaging way! The headphones will help my students read fluently and improve their reading and comprehension by listening to themselves and learning through technology strategies to improve their reading!
