My Project
Each day as I step into the classroom, I am met with students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills, and beliefs. Despite these differences, this project will give them the opportunity to grow personally while strengthening their social and emotional well-being.
In recent years, I have noticed a decline in students’ motivation, accountability, and ability to build healthy relationships with their peers.
I strive not only to foster a greater sense of empathy in my students but also to better understand the societal trends shaping their experiences. By integrating more project-based learning and art into my classroom, I can create a more engaging and supportive environment that adapts to their evolving needs.
I aim to provide my students with art materials to create meaningful projects that encourage self-reflection and connection with others.
Through art therapy, students will use these resources to express themselves, relieve stress, build confidence, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Through creative expression, they will develop essential life skills and work toward becoming the best version of themselves.
