Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want my students to be able to use their innovative juices to create their own designs for school t-shirts. The items for this project - vinyl and heat press - will be used to allow our students to create and design images for the entire school. Students will use the mousepads while they work on the computers creating their designs. This group of 5th grade leaders are so smart and creative and love art. I want them to be able to use what they have learned in class and put it to immediate use. They will hold a competition to see who has the best t-shirt design to use for our field day shirts.
