Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To help bring creativity through art into my pre-k classroom.
To give students paints, construction paper, and other manipulatives to foster eye-hand coordination and small motor skills.
Storage that is easily accessible to students so that they can access tables and chairs in the classroom to foster independence.
Being able to work with age-appropriate and size-appropriate furniture will help.
Strengthen their love of learning and build their confidence that they are capable of doing hard things.
I want to give each child who enters my classroom the opportunity to learn and not have to worry about bringing supplies that they cannot afford to class. I want their first experience at school to be one where they feel love and acceptance.
