This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Thump! The sound of our easel falling off its stand! Our dry erase board is old and needs to be replaced. Our dry erase markers are old and dry. We need more writing pads for our drafts and math paper for graphing. Phew!! All necessary supplies to achieve academic success.

My fourth grade students are quite energetic and excitable.

They enjoy writing, which warms my heart, in this time of video games and cell phones. They also like math (picking it as their favorite subject) because they know "how to do math". It is wonderful to see how students know their strengths especially since they are all growing up in an area where poverty and crime is prevalent.

My Project

With your generosity my students can have the needed supplies that are basic to a classroom. Writing pads to use for drafting their assignments, whether they are writing an essay, book report, or narrative story. Math paper to graph equations and coordinate points, so they can continue to succeed academically. Dry erase markers so they can continue to use their individual dry erase boards that make learning an interactive activity.

All of the materials that you can provide with your generosity will serve my current as well as my future students.

It is important to have the basic materials, in order to help my student succeed academically. Thank you in advance for your help.
