Are You the Next Mozart? Find Out in Our Piano Lab!
My students need a Piano Lab Teaching System and six accessory kits to complete our new class piano lab! With this equipment, each student will get individual attention from the instructor.
Do you teach piano? For the past twelve years I have been asked that by both students and teachers in my middle school. We have unfortunately not been able to teach piano due to the lack of resources and equipment. We are lucky enough this year to have obtained keyboards to help these students!
Our students are very excited about the performing arts and are also looking for ways to express their emotions through music.
The piano is a wonderful instrument to learn that helps them improve their rhythm and note reading for other instruments that they play. Our school is very arts friendly and promotes music throughout the community. Many students want to take piano lessons, and we need these resources to have a working piano lab. The teacher will be able to listen to one student at a time and give them advice without the rest of the class hearing. Giving more students the opportunity to learn a musical instrument is what my job is all about!!
My Project
My students need a Piano Lab Teaching System and six accessory kits to complete our new class piano lab! Band, Orchestra, and Choir students will be using the keyboard lab to review notes, rhythms, and learn a new instrument. Students will be using a computer resource that allows them to learn the piano in a friendly and safe environment. At the end of the year, we will be having a piano recital in which the students can demonstrate their new skills. Having the ability as a teacher to listen to each student individually and let the students progress at their own speed will allow us to have more control with the piano class. It will also allow more students to enroll in the class and learn the great skill of piano playing by the teacher being able to listen in and talk to each student individually while the other students are still practicing.
Having the ability to teach piano is something our school has been missing for many years.
We will be able to include more students in our growing department and help teach them new methods. Being able to work with students individually will greatly help the teaching environment and make each student more successful.
