My Project
Research has determined that smartboards revolutionize the way teachers run classrooms, from engaging student interest and demonstrating complex information to assessing learning and preparing students for an increasingly digital world. I want to spark curiosity and engage my students by adding variety to instruction, getting them moving, and providing cool ways to respond to questions.
A smartboard creates an effective way to differentiate instruction and appeal to multiple intelligences.
When students range from independent and academically high-achieving, to requiring accommodations and differentiated instruction to target the learning style(s) technology helps to bridge the gap.
As the teacher, I also want to make sure that I can keep up with the times so that my students are in the best position to compete in this 21st century world. Students will be able to touch the screen of the board to interact with the lesson which helps them remember what they are learning and it also serves as a great motivating tool. Lessons can also incorporate multimedia sources that make them way more appealing and interactive than basic presentations.
I cannot wait for the opportunity to expand my teaching and students' learning in this 2022 tech-savvy world of learners.
