This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's the middle of the year and my classroom is needing a serious restock. With over 100 students learning in my room each day, some supplies tend to run out quicker than I can afford to replenish them. My students recently have learned to advocate for themselves and the environment they need to best learn. They've requested to use more paper based assignments thus the high need for pencils, colored pencils and filler paper. They also said that the harsh florescent lighting in our room, sometimes makes it difficult to work because it's just too bright, so by helping fund this project you'll also be helping them get some calmer tones with the LED lights.

My students are an incredible group of kids, who deserve all the world has to offer them and the chance to take full advantage of every shot they're given in life.

So many regularly floor me with their kindness and generosity to one another and I would love to make sure that in my classroom they always have what they need to succeed. They deserve to not just get by but shown that they and their education matter to more people than just the teachers in their school.

We thank you in advance for any support you can provide to us and help restock and add a little more comfort and fun to our classroom. Your generosity will not go unnoticed.
