This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to request funding for the necessary resources to enhance my second-grade students’ learning experience. Due to the geographical location of our school, my students are often limited in their access to up-to-date educational tools and materials. This has created challenges, especially with the technology we currently have available in the classroom.

My second graders devices are old and slow, please help me provide my little ones with modern and new headphones.

Our classroom devices, which are essential for interactive and personalized learning, are outdated, slow, and not functioning optimally. Additionally, the lack of modern headphones has become a significant barrier to learning, particularly as our lessons increasingly rely on digital resources.

At this developmental stage, students are working to strengthen their focus and comprehension skills. The addition of high-quality, noise-canceling headphones will eliminate distracting background noise, enabling students to better concentrate and engage with lessons delivered via computers. Headphones will allow each child to hear the content more clearly, improving their ability to absorb information and stay on task.

Providing these resources will ensure that my students, many of whom face socio-economic challenges, are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in a technology-driven world. These improvements will not only support their academic growth but also promote their digital literacy, preparing them for future learning opportunities.

I humbly ask for your support in making these necessary updates possible for my deserving students. Your contribution will directly impact their educational experience and help them reach their full potential.
