Help me give my students some games to build community (and get them doing things with their voices / hands instead of technology). The furniture will help me organize my room, in drama mama style.

My Project

This project is designed to provide my students with games that foster community, conversation and interaction - away from technology.

As a speech/drama/journalism teacher I've discovered my high school students need fun ways to interact with their peers in what they perceive as a safe space.

One of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic - many students are leery of interaction beyond text message or social media.

My goal is to create fun ways to encourage interaction that does not involve a screen. The furniture (bookcase and assignment cubby) will help me organize my room into a creative space.
