This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Scholars in my classes and within our IB Program are committed to being innovative in their approach to solving real world problems in their local and global communities. We work hard to see the connections between core classes and their real world applications.
Our scholars love hands on experiences and are determined to leave their communities better than they found them.
Our work together emphasizes the importance of hard work and effort as well as educating our whole selves so that we will become better citizens.
My Project
Help to complete our Aquaponics system by ensuring that our indoor setup can ensure that plants thrive! We're excited about finally getting our aquaponics system off the ground but still need your help ensuring the projects success! Last year I secured $5,000 to purchase an Aquaponic system to partner will 100 Graders with a local nonprofit in Charlotte. Due to structural obstacles in our greenhouse, we decided to set the system up indoors. Due to this change, we'll need grow lights to support indoor plant growth to ensure that our setup is effective. Please help make this project a reality.
