Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The aquaponics setup will be a living model to show students how food can be grown in a small space. The tank is also fascinating for the students in their classroom and creates an inviting learning space. The items will make a difference in their learning because the students are eager to see the fish and how the plants grow.

This project aims to teach the students about the Law of Conservation of Energy.

The students will see that energy is transferred from one organism to another. The project will also demonstrate the concept of sustainability to the class. It will show how food can be created in a small space and how to grow food from seed. In addition, the students can take the food grown in their classrooms home to enjoy with their families.
