This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing this project for our new garden area on campus. We are in need of gardening aprons to keep our clothes clean and a variety of seeds and herbs to see where our food comes from. Our nurse has gotten a small garden started and we are in the beginning stages of getting what we need to have it flourish.

Our students are so excited about this new gardening opportunity on campus to learn about different vegetables and how to care for them.

A storage box that can be kept outside will hold the aprons, gardening gloves, and small tools needed. A few of the extra seeds will be saved for fall planting when the students return in August. Thank you for bringing this garden project to life for so many of our students, parents, and staff to enjoy for many years to come.
