Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of my students need even more social-emotional learning and support than pre-pandemic due to a lack of exposure. Additionally, a number of my students experienced trauma during the pandemic (from traumatic loss to fighting in the home). Help me help my students thrive and learn crucial SEL skills!

Empower my Spanish-speaking students to talk about and learn about themselves and their emotions!

The bilingual materials and book sets requested in this project will help me more effectively support my English language learners.

Additionally, we like to have fun and do tactile things while we talk and learn, my students love making bracelets or playing with slime while we talk about our feelings!
