My Students

With today's ever-changing technology, limited school computers are not sufficient enough to provide my students with the tools they need to maximize learning. Having an iPad mini in the classroom will allow my students to explore and experience learning while being highly engaged in the activities.

Many of my students are in need of improvement with their reading and math skills.

An iPad mini would allow my students to work in stations, using applications that would focus on developing reading skills, such as accuracy and fluency as well as math skills at their own level and pace. My classroom is filled with 24 third graders. They are a wonderful, hard working group of children. My students are energetic and they are constantly on the move. They love to use computers and they are learning numerous skills from the technology that we currently have in our classroom. I would love to be able to reach more of my students through technology on a daily basis in our work stations.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad mini to help reinforce science, reading, writing, and math skills. The iPad mini applications will help with reading, counting skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, science and social studies research and much more. The iPad Mini will also help my students learn how to use technology. An iPad Mini will provide a much richer learning environment and aid many students for years to come. The case will keep our new technology safe. I want to provide my students with as many enriching opportunities as possible.

Having an iPad Mini will be a huge benefit to my students educational career.

As an educator, I want to provide my students with as many learning opportunities as possible and I feel that the iPad mini will provide numerous opportunities. It will serve as a tool of learning that the children will find highly engaging on a daily basis. Thank you for your interest and support in my project!
