This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is statistically proven that students learn better when working in groups or being taught by their peers. Group work is easier when there are desks that are easy to move and place in different areas. The desks and chairs on my wishlist would provide flexible seating options for my 4th-grade students. The desks and chairs would also promote student engagement by inviting students to participate in group projects and partner work more frequently and effectively.
I’m requesting new classroom desks for my students.
If funded, my classroom will receive much-needed, functional desks. My students deserve a comfortable and adaptable workspace with desks that can be adjusted to their height needs. The desks are open-front designs, which will allow students to easily access their materials while working on tasks.
We are also requesting paper and glue sticks. These classroom supplies will help with basic necessities for our projects.
Thank you for helping my students have the basic necessities for learning.
