Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having these desks and whiteboard markers will allow my students to work in small groups and apply the skills that we are currently working on to meet standards and prepare for demonstrating mastery.
Being able to tilt the tables after they have collaborated in small groups will then allow them to present and discuss their work with the entire class.
This takes their learning to a deeper level, extends them to be open to multiple math perspectives, and works to correct and extend their learners to other small groups and build themselves as a member of our learning classroom!
