My students are technologically advanced! They need to learn in many different ways, including writing and typing. It makes sense that students should keep up with technology, because this is the way our world is turning.
I teach a group of 20 first graders.
They are full of life and love to learn. Our school has been an A school for many years and we intend on staying that way! We are on the cutting edge of technology and teach our students in so many different ways! Differentiation is key!
My Project
My first graders will use this iPad, and hopefully a few more in the future, during math and literacy centers. They will work independently with a tablet while getting differentiation. I will also use the iPad as a reward when a student works hard and finishes early. However, we will only use the tablet for learning purposes.
This iPad mini with Wi-Fi built in will help me keep my students excited while learning math and reading!
They can play partner games, or work as individuals on the tablet. They will learn while being engaged and having fun too! This learning tool will be used aligned with standards and used at our school only.
