My Students

I teach kindergarten at a high poverty school in Johnson City, TN.

I have 20 students in my class.

They are a very sweet group of eager learners that get excited about everything I introduce to them! They are lots of fun and they make my job of teaching very enjoyable!

I love to provide opportunities for my students that they normally would never get the chance to experience. They are always very appreciative and they love learning new things!

My Project

I am trying to get enough iPads in my classroom so that each student will have his own to use throughout the day. My kindergarten students are fired up with the many aspects of digital learning we use for our math and literacy lessons! Their excitement in learning is amazing to watch!

Digital learning offers many opportunities for students to advance at their own pace.

It allows me to individualize the learning for each student, therefore keeping them challenged and meeting their individual needs. Parents look forward to seeing their child's learning on a digital program called Seesaw. With iPads for everyone, each child can share their learning and be successful!
