Apple TV to the Rescue

My Students

Our middle school is made up of about 1000 students. Our student body is composed of a mix of races and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are only miles away from an Air Force base, and so we have a large military population. Our school, teachers, and students work hard each day. The school has received many awards.

I teach about 100 eighth graders.

My classes include kids in Special Education and those with learning disabilities. Each day, my students work so hard and always keep positive attitudes as they strive to grow!

My Project

The addition of an Apple TV to our math classroom will benefit my students. They will be able to experience what learning with technology can look like. By pairing our class Ipad to the Apple TV, we can teach through our projector.

I will be able to teach a lesson on the Ipad, stream the lesson on my interactive TV by using the Apple TV, record the lesson, and then upload the lesson for the students to view on their own time or own their own mobile devices.

I am also requesting a wireless mouse that can be used with the ipad and is compact for storing.
