This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We come from a diverse population. We learn through a strong, classical education fused with STEM with an advanced curriculum that prepares students for life and leadership.
Our vision is to learn, lead, and change the world.
We will learn to appreciate our nation through the study of American heritage as we learn what it means to be a civic-minded citizen.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are integrated into all that we do so we can learn leadership skills such as self-mastery, collaboration, and goal attainment.
My Project
Due to the recent COVID pandemic, our classrooms have moved online. In our classroom, we have the opportunity to study math and science topics along with solving engineering problems.
Our class would like to enhance our presentations with an Apple TV that will allow us to connect our iPads to the projector.
With this, we will be able to share our work from anywhere in the classroom. I will also be able to teach from anywhere in the classroom, using the iPad as a whiteboard and projecting it to the screen using Apple TV. The Apple Pencil will help me to write on a virtual whiteboard and help my students take better notes.
When we are back in the classroom, I can also show students' work from their desks (or video streaming box online), allowing for more collaboration and discussion as we solve all kinds of math and science problems throughout the day. The Apple TV will be a great addition to our online/in-person classroom to help enhance learning.
